Fehn will present a particularly extensive and exciting collection at the 2023 toy fair. Once again, the Fehn range will be exceptionally colourful, and will mainly be about play. The new collection "DoBabyDoo" is all about "activity", as it focuses on toys with many different functions and the associated promotion of early childhood development. In addition to the already well-known activity functions, the colourful zoo animals feature recently developed new surprises that promote the development of all of the baby's sensory as well as its motor skills. "Learning and playing" is the motto of this collection, which links entertainment and toys with what babies are best at: being curious and learning.

Babies learn at a turbo-charged speed!

The human brain is a small miracle of nature that is particularly obvious in newborns. From the moment of birth and in the first few months of their lives, humans learn as rapidly, intensively and comprehensively as at no other stage of their lives. The brain is particularly flexible during infancy; some regions of the brain are being formed completely from scratch, whilst others become ever more complete or are connected. Never again in their later lives are humans capable of absorbing and processing this many sensory impressions all at the same time. Babies learn at a turbo-charged speed – provided they are appropriately stimulated and given the chance to explore and try out a lot of different things. Precisely this is where the new collection from Fehn comes into play, as it were. Stimulating a baby's sensory as well as its motor skills is a precondition for ensuring optimum early childhood development.

"DoBabyDoo" – fun and games with a colourful riot of animal characters!

Even more characters based on animals, even more integrated activity functions – the new "DoBabyDoo" collection is all bells and whistles. Like no other collection, this addition to the Fehn portfolio is designed to encourage babies to explore their senses, such as seeing, hearing, gripping & feeling, and to help them with teething, the development of logic and controlled movements, and their fine motor skills. This is achieved with the aid of particularly a varied range of materials and textures, such as soft velour, printed fabrics, terry, bouclette fabric, satin, muslin and plush. With their different tactile properties and textures, the materials motivate babies to grip and touch them. In addition, they feature a number of well-known as well as new activity functions. Besides classic features such as a lullaby soother, rattle, squeaker, crinkly paper, mirrors and many others, completely new activity options have also been integrated. For example, there is now a ring with four colourful beads that are perfect for gripping and playing with. The range of teethers has been increased; new leaf- and star-shaped as well as neon-coloured teethers provide the necessary teething support.

Particularly exciting, for example, is the Rainmaker Koala. Colourful beads inside a rod that slowly trickle down create a particularly captivating sound and encourage careful listening and perception. Also new and unusual is the Twitter Bird, a small cockatoo that cheerfully skips to and fro on a rubber band whilst twittering happily. It is perfect for attachment to an infant carrier, where it provides real entertainment, for example during boring car rides. The brightly coloured Butterfly, for example, has a super new functional feature: it is suspended from a vibrating pull string. The baby can easily pull the butterfly down; the pull string is then retracted automatically with the aid of vibration. The trembling of the pull string not only provides visual and auditory stimulation but also a very special sensory experience babies won't tire of. The small Roly-poly Owl also guarantees hours of fun: you only have to tip it briefly, and it gently tumbles around until it is upright again, and the game can begin anew. Attempting to grab this toy in a controlled way promotes the baby's coordination skills. The Fox Comforter also goes all out with a variety of gripping rings, teethers, ribbons and a wide range of different textile surfaces. It makes optimum use of a baby's natural curiosity, and encourages newborns to become little explorers. Our Bean Bag Zebra is also something special. It is great for squeezing, and the granule filling once again motivates babies to touch it and practice their gripping skills. The funny stripes and the different fabric surface textures promise even more tactile experiences.

The new collection's bright rainbow colours with neon-coloured accents as well as interesting black and white patterns provide visual stimulation. All of the "DoBabyDoo" characters not only come in many bright colours but are also extremely varied. Whether fox, camel, koala, zebra, panda or crocodile – all in all, the collection features thirteen different types of appealing animals for babies to cuddle or play with, including the hand puppet "Crocodile", which not only stimulates senses such as seeing, hearing, gripping and touching, but also motivates babies to bond and interact with mum and dad. Using the hand puppet is an imaginative way to tell stories or act out role plays.

"DoBabyDoo" also offers the specialist retailers something unusual, as the range has its own packaging concept. Self-explanatory icons developed specifically to illustrate the activity toy's various functions immediately make it clear which senses the toy appeals to. They are also labelled with clear age recommendations such as 0+, 3+ or 6+ months to perfectly guide the customers.
